Choosing systems for record keeping is a two step process.
- Teachers must first consider what systems are required for use in their district. Systems such as Infinite Campus, Skyward, Moodle, and TIES may be used by districts for reporting to parents or report card purposes. After teachers determine which record keeping tasks can be done through district sites they may then look at creating their own systems.
- Teachers must determine what record keeping tasks are not met through district purchased and supplied systems. After teachers determine what other types of records they will need to keep, they may then determine which system will work best for each task. The three systems I utilize most often are linked below with greater explanation.
